When regarding this comfortable quilted rug, size 120 x 120 with rounded corners, only the central button and the clever arrangement of folds across its surface (marking out 17 separate panels) hint at the conjuring trick which is to come. By pulling on the button the panels lift, their different facets move into place, the magic of origami unfolds ... and hey presto, the rug has become a stool, upholstered with romantically-draped wool. All that remains is to 'fix' the miracle by securing the button in its special recess. Once the button is released, the stool instantly becomes a rug once more.
